Anne is a watercolour artist. Her aim in creating a work of art is to capture something of the beauty, light and mood of the natural world. Her work is not so much a photorealistic representation but an interpretation or impression that is semi-realistic and expressive. She loves the Australian bush, its trees, plants and waterways. Anne is a watercolour artist. Her aim in creating a work of art is to capture something of the beauty, light and mood of the natural world. Her work is not so much a photorealistic representation but an interpretation or impression that is semi-realistic and expressive. She loves the Australian bush, its trees, plants and waterways. Students are encouraged to develop confidence in finding their own artistic expression. We will use a variety of watercolour techniques such as wet in wet, dry brush stroking, applying masking fluid while also learning some compositional principles. We will create a beautiful landscape in the process.
