Easter Art Sale

Congratulations to SAS members who collectively raised $6092 for our community over the Easter long weekend. The exhibition saw 72 artworks sold valued at $23,350. The gorgeous sunshine attracted a wide audience including locals and visitors. The show was exceptionally well received.

Thank you to our hardworking and dedicated committee and helpers who assisted setting up the exhibition, hanging artworks, welcoming guests and serving delicious fare for our official opening. A percentage of all sales contributed to a sizeable donation of $4670 for the Shoalhaven Women's Health Centre. A gold coin entry attributing $850 to the Australian Red Cross Flood Appeal and $572 raised from the guessing competition donated to Red Cross local youth programs.

Purchasers were delighted with their new art pieces and so successful were the sales, we had artists bring in more work to hang!
